EDITED Friday Morning:
Ok, who the hell really knows what's going on. I have heard so many different things about Harris' injury I am surprised he even still has a leg. First it's his knee and it's not too bad and now it's both his knee and his hammy but his hammy may be torn, blah blah blah. Basically, no one is saying anything concrete and Tommie will at minimum be out for the rest of the regular season.
Original Post: Despite what other headline's would have you believe, I am not going to try and trick you with a headline that say's Tommie Harris is out for the season. Tommie will more then likely be out for the rest of the regular season but should be ready to go by the playoffs.
This is fine by me because it could have been worse. The Bears already own the division. Plus the only need to win two games to secure the #1 seed as well as only win one game to secure at least a first round bye.
What does concern me is missing his presence on my fantasy team's Bear Defense that already is without Mike Brown and gives up a ton of rushing yards. Alfonso Boone will take Harris' place in the ever rotating interior line who I think will fill in just nicely, but he's no Tommie Harris.

This sucks, saw one interesting theory, that the defensive injuries are due to them being on the field too much, let me see, who is primarily responsible for that. REX, not only is corky screwing up the offense, he is no trying to finish off the defense. How one guy can be allowed to screw up a team this much is beyond me.

Come on now...you can't put this on Rex too. Lovie uses a rotation on the d-line so if anyone of them is too exhausted we just plug another in.
But yes, this sucks all the way around now. I wasn't too worried yesterday but that is when I thought I was getting good info.
I know it's not the same...but I play flag football every Saturday and my hammies always are tight and sore. After four/five weeks of laying low while we wrap up home field advantage, if Tommie can't get his ass on the field for the playoffs, I will be BITTER! Get your ass out there and play some football!

I am only tending to agree with the notion that constantly putting our defense on the field and in bad positions leads to more injuries and injuries to the best players who are normally out when the D is placed in a bad spot. There is no doubt our D has been logging long hours due to rex, and there is no doubt that a tired D leads to more injuries.

My sources tell me that Paris Hilton is smitten with Tommie, but won't marry him because she doesn't want to be forever known as someone who went before God himself and entered into a sacred union that resulted in her being named "Paris Harris."
She simply travels with a vibrator while hoping Tom embraces Islam and gets a name that is more phonetically acceptable to her fledgling sex-tape career.
