The last thing you ever want to do in Fantasy Football is draft too many players from one particular team. And that even speaks to the Colts, Patriots or Chargers. One bad game from your stars and you're out of luck. I live by the principle of avoiding running backs and wide receivers from the same team, as well as receivers and tight ends or quarterbacks and running backs from the same team. Does that make sense? Maybe, maybe not, but it saves me from shooting myself in the foot on Sunday. Basically, you won't catch me with Peyton Manning and Joseph Addai on the same team. That said, on the other hand, I am a big proponent of coupling an elite receiver and QB duo. Sure, you run can run into the occasional snag during bye weeks. However, over the course of the season you generally tend to reap the benefits, as you sit back and watch the double points roll in when your tandem connects for a TD. Hopefully, you get the point.
Although, you've gotta be sure you're running with an elite tandem, because there are only a handful of them out there. You surely don't want to place your faith in Tarvaris Jackson to Sidney Rice. After all, not every duo you find will be Montana to Rice. Then again, I'd vote for my favorite Fantasy tandem ever to be Scott Mitchell to Herman Moore (circa '95). Yes, I'm a Lions fan. Moving on, let's take a quick look (from the obvious department) at the top QB-WR combos you can feel safe and confident trotting out each Sunday. However, don't blame me if your QB gets hurt and your master plan explodes. Trust me, I will empathize with your pain...I was a firm believer in Bulger to Holt last season.
Tom Brady to Randy Moss: Lay-up drills. They can't possibly duplicate the damage they inflicted upon the record books last season...can they? It'd be impossible to bump this duo from their lofty perch, but it'd be wise to temper expectations for a repeat of last season.
Peyton Manning to Reggie Wayne: Marvin Harrison is quickly becoming an afterthought in many fantasy circles, which seems criminal. However, one can't dismiss the numbers that Manning and Wayne have combined to produce over the past few seasons. If anybody is poised to overthrow the golden boy and straight cash homie... here you go.
Tony Romo to Terrell Owens: Well, Romo's a star and T.O is a genetic freak. I thought wide receivers were supposed to tail off in the mid 30's? However, it appears this duo is just hitting their peak.
Carson Palmer to T.J. Houshmandzadeh: It's always fair to make the argument for Chad Johnson. However, you've just gotta roll with the consistency of Housh. And besides that, one could argue that Johnson's finest fantasy season came with Jon Kitna at the helm.
Derek Anderson to Braylon Edwards: Say hello to the everyone's trendy and chic duo of the 2008 Fantasy Football season. There's still a few seats on the bandwagon.
Drew Brees to Marques Colston: The somewhat forgotten duo has replaced Bulger to Holt and could be cooking up something big this season.
Jon Kitna to Roy Williams: OK, that's a bad joke.
Market Movers...
Jay Cutler to Brandon Marshall: Last season appeared to be the beginning of a special relationship, but then came the nightmarish offseason and Marshall's suspension. Yet, this tandem should sync up again real soon.
Matt Schaub to Andre Johnson: If both can stay healthy, they've got the chemistry.

Brady set records last season. Moss set records last season. Brady and Moss lost the last Super Bowl. Brady and Moss are losers.

Fred Smorgasbord is clearly either a Rams, Panthers, or Eagles fan sour about getting beat. Brady and Moss lost the superbowl because their offensive line dissappeared, and what's his name made the first catch of his career off of his helmet.
See the last poster's comment, calling Brady a loser is just plain stupid.

We will see....I highly doubt it. I just want to see a fair game. I'm not a Raven fan but they won that game last year. Sorry Refs...be consistent in your callings. There will always be an asterisk next to every game they played last year in most peoples mind.

A great year ahead and tonights Sf 49er 1-1 vs
Chic Bear 0-2 game will feature some possible combos you may hear about this year.
Bears name Ortin the starter this week and 49ers searching for a answer to create a higher powered offense has given snaps to others and with results. Adding recievers and new O schemes didnt look good in the first game - but they came back to put up 36 points vs Gbay a week ago. This game will be a good ne, and would be nice to see A. boldin in a 49er jersey and some firepower in Nocal. Keep in mind even though the talk is to replace A. Smith he has the teams highest rating in pre season of over 64 and all tht get snaps will be gunning.
Bears will have Defense and also search for some offense as well and beiong 0-2 is probably not what Lovey and co want there. I think you will see them pull out stops to create as well. wether its getting it to WR's booker, davis, or Hester - wehter Orton or Grossman or hanie - some fire power needs to be found to utilize the talent in chicago...
