I already covered the guys who you should not even worry about ... but now, for the sake of reciprocity, we have to check out the guys that we should fear.
The top item would have been a tough choice, had I decided it had to be an individual player. Once I realized it had to just be a team, though, it became much more clear.
The Cincinnati Bengals

I once ranked them quite high in my team power rankings. I have loved a relatively early Carson Palmer pick, and drooled over Rudi Johnson. That's all firmly in the rear-view now, however. Could a team possibly have more things change in one freaking month?
Now you've got Chad Johnson with a torn labrum -- and more concerned with his name change than injury -- Chris Henry back yet suspended for four games, Rudi no longer with the team, and Palmer's head spinning. He has to be wondering what the hell is going on, and what he personally did to deserve this.
Risky Fantasy Picks
Questions surround Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson, pictured, and the rest of the Cincinnati offense's fantasy potential. Johnson intends to play through a shoulder injury, and the running game will have a new look following the departure of Rudi Johnson. But "Ocho Cinco" isn't the only NFL player with muddled fantasy value heading into the 2008 season.

Texans running back Ahman Green stayed healthy enough to play in just six games last season. Don't expect this year to be much different. With Green hobbled again, and rookie Steve Slaton looking like the most valuable option, it might be easier to just avoid Houston rushers as a whole.
Bob Levey, Getty Images
Kevin Curtis, the Eagles' top receiving threat last season, will likely miss eight weeks or longer because of a sports hernia. He won't come close to last year's totals of 1,110 yards and six touchdowns. It's time to forget about his fantasy potential for 2008, and instead focus on Philadelphia rookie DeSean Jackson.

Vikings QB Tarvaris Jackson says he'll be ready to go for the season opener, but he still hasn't played since injuring his knee in a preseason game against Baltimore. Even if he can get back to 100 percent, he'll have a hard time without the protection of one of his best offensive linemen, Bryant McKinnie, who was suspended for the first four games.
Drew Hallowell, Getty Images
Eagles running back Brian Westbrook has avoided any major injuries for two consecutive seasons, but doubt is always lingering for fantasy owners who choose the diminutive back. One fantasy expert has even made the bold prediction that Westbrook will get knocked out for a stretch this season.

As I said above, Ocho Cinco is hurt. At receiver, you need to be able to extend your arms, which is damn near impossible with a torn labrum ... not to mention the opposing defenses will know about the injury and take any shots they can to tweak it enough for his removal from the game.
Chris Henry is a DUI and suspension waiting to happen. Plain and simple. If you think I should be less blunt, maybe he should stop smoking them first.
I've spoken before about the principle of gaining maximum profit for a draft slot in fantasy, and I really believe in it. What I'm saying here is that if you are scared of risk -- and I know you're out there -- you don't wanna buy into the Bengals offense. All the above question marks make the Palmer and TJ Houshmandzadeh picks tenuous as well ... because all the attention will be on TJ, and Palmer could lose all his weapons.
The Houston Texans' running back situationAgain, if you head into a fantasy draft looking to avoid all question marks and take no risks whatsoever, you need not examine a Houston running back. I love Steve Slaton as a late-round sleeper like my colleague, but there's a lot of risk involved in anyone here. Ahman Green can't stay healthy. He won't. Even if you read reports that he feels 100 percent and he's ready to take on the role of their top back, don't buy it. He's never going to have an injury-free season the rest of his career.
Chris Brown sucks. I can't put it any simpler for you. He may even get cut in favor of a group of guys that include a man who can't walk to his local tavern without yanking a hammy, a rookie, Hootie (oh, wait ... it's Darius Walker) and Chris Taylor, a dude that fought for carries at my alma mater (IU's football program isn't exactly storied, you know). So yeah, drafting Brown is a wasted pick.
I still think Slaton is the best bet here, but there are plenty of reasons to disagree. It's just a mess overall.
I hate to belabor the point, but I'm not saying I wouldn't draft these guys -- I like gambling -- I'm just saying if you are scared of risk, you should avoid. On the other hand, there is absolutely no risk in taking your league to fleaflicker, where there are plenty of spots still available ... since, you know, unlimited quantities can't run out.
Two individuals that will not be fine ...
Kevin Curtis
Sports hernia. Ouch. He's looking at no less than eight weeks, and probably more. I'm no injury expert, but we can use some common sense to examine the situation. He's a receiver in a physical game. You can feel your stomach when you sprint, when you extend your arms in the air, and when you get hit hard.
I don't think I'm going out on a limb when I say that his season is in jeopardy. Get on that DeSean Jackson train. We heart DeSean here at Fantasy FanHouse.
Tarvaris Jackson
If you hate taking chances, you likely wouldn't be picking good ol' Tarvaris anyway. With the news of one of his best offensive linemen being suspended, his value takes a big-time hit. Avoid in all formats to start the season.
... and one that won't be fine, but will still be drafted quite highly: Brian Westbrook
I'm whispering right now. Remember how Westbrook used to never be able to stay healthy? Well, the Eagles count on him for an awful lot of their offense. It wouldn't surprise me one bit to see him get knocked out for a four-to-six game chunk this year again.
In fact, I'm making the bold prediction that it will happen, so I'll pass.
I recommend you do the same on all of the above if taking risks scares you.

Now I know who to not draft. Like last year: I drafted Matt Leinart, Jake Delhomme, Larry Johnson, Cedric Benson, Steve Smith (though not his fault) So if anyone wants to know who not to draft I"ll let them know who I took.

I am concerned about you, using "reciprocity" in this context. It is not reciprical to your "First Sentence" introduduction. In fact, I find the entire article frivolous; unless you are intimately involved with the Bengals Organization or Chad "Whatever" 's personal business. Nonsense!!

From dictionary.com:
5. inversely related or proportional; opposite.
Guys you shouldn't fear vs. Guys you should fear is dead-on to that definition.
I'm also concerned about your comma splice in sentence one ... not an editor, huh?

And here I thought that this article with a picture of a black man was put here for juxtaposition. The link before this shows a picture of Giuliania at the Republican National Convention. Then it shows AOL with this ridiculous article telling us that we should be afraid of black men....All black men.
Typical racist juxtaposition on the part of AOL that teaches white people that they should be afraid of black people...
Teaches voters that they should be afraid of black people (Barack Obama)
That is why I'm dropping aol. Why pay 23 bucks a month for this crap when yahoo is free.

I think you guys misunderstand Mr. Heron. What he is saying is it was poor placement and choice of words on the part of aol to place this article saying to fear this guy right after an article about the republican candidates. Although Mr. Heron may have been reading a bit into it. But if you look at his point of view then you can see where he is coming from. I don't think his intention is an intent to offend races but just saying what poor job aol does of report news which i agree with 100%.
P.S. Just for anyone out there who may misunderstand this yet again. I am a black female and I was not offended by his comment.

This is one of the more uneducated football related articles that I have read in a long time. Chad Johnson is moving his arm and will be just fine. Slaton is undersized and has never run in an NFL system style offense, so I don't really like him as the break out Texans RB.

Hey, Matt. I don't know what to think of your analysis because I don't play fantasy football, but it would be nice if you and at least some of your readers were literate. First of all, Matt, when you refer to a group of guys, the correct word is "who," not "that." And when you say, "Chris Brown sucks. I can't put it anymore simple for you," that's another grammatical error. You should've written the adverb "simply, not the adjective "simply." Such errors are unforgivable for anone who theoretically earns a living as a writer.

dumb article. westbrook will be a beast this year, a healthy beast. johnson will be fine, but not as good as in the past. if you need reliable fantasy advice, then ask a fantasy expert. someone like me with 14 years fantasy experience, playoffs 6 times, winning record 10 times. number 1 running back and receiver 5 times. this guy is a knuclehead. steer clear of his lame advice and you will be fine.
