After an amazingly hot start to this series, last week we went a measly 0-6. Hey, everyone has bad days. We'll bounce back accordingly. Here are some stars you might consider benching for whatever reason this week.Quarterbacks
Brett Favre, GB -- Although he's had some amazing showings on Monday Night Football, Favre is ready for a let down game. Rookie cornerback Antoine Cason has impressed for the Chargers, and the defense will be thirsty for their first win. It isn't like he's going to have a horrible game, but if you have a bench player like Trent Edwards or J.T. O'Sullivan, it might be worth plugging him in over Favre.
Carson Palmer, Cinc -- Ready, everyone..."Same verse, same as the first! This is the song that never ends, it just goes on and on my friend, somebody started singing it not knowing what it was, and now they keep on singing it together just because..." He will have to show us something before anyone believes in this guy again.
Running Backs
LaDainian Tomlinson, SD -- It's all in the toe. Tomlinson was invisible as your Fantasy star last week and I'm scared it will be the same this week, especially with Darren Sproles playing so well. When he's in the game defenses gang up on him and if he's not 100 percent I don't like riding him for a week three win. Depending on your bench, it might be worth plugging in a split-time back for Tomlinson, at least for a week.
Willie Parker, Pitt -- He didn't score last week against Cleveland while racking up 105 yards, so who is to say he's going to kill it against the Eagles defense? Marion Barber had a rushing touchdown last week against Philadelphia but only gained 63 hard earned yards. Parker won't run people over the way Barber does, so if there is a time to pass up on Willie, it is here.
Wide Receivers
Chad Johnson, Cinc -- Do you see a trend here with Bengal players? Ocho Cinco has been very cero in his first two games, which is pretty surprising for a man that is so content on boosting his own statistics. Just like Palmer, Johnson will have to do something good before we are convinced he's a starter again.
Marvin Harrison, Indy -- Has anyone checked under his helmet to see if this is the same guy? Harrison has been invisible the first two weeks and it appears Peyton Manning is looking towards Anthony Gonzalez more for the short routes than Harrison. I'd like to say he might find his way back this week, but they are facing a Jaguar team that needs a win to save their season.
