As always, please feel free to chime in with opinions, updates, and rumors in the comments. The Arizona Cardinals
Anquan Boldin - Coach Whisenhunt left open the possibility of Q's return to action in Sunday's game against the Cowboys as he practiced lightly on Thursday. Still, with the bye week coming in Week 7, it doesn't make much sense to rush him back to action this week. Wait until closer to gametime to make a sit/start decision, but definitely plan on starting another receiver for week 6.
Roddy White - Roddy scared owners on Wednesday when a big in-practice collision kept him out of action and earned him a "Questionable" on the injury report. It looks like this was just precautionary, however, so he should be ready to go on Sunday.
The Baltimore Ravens
Willis McGahee - McGahee's injuries du jour, his knee and ribs, kept his practices very light and he sported the red no-contact jersey in practice. Expect him to play on Sunday, but with Le'Ron McClain continuing to mop up the goalline touchdowns and about a third of the carries.
The Buffalo Bills
Trent Edwards - Edwards sat out of practice Tuesday and was sent home on Wednesday as he is still woozy from the concussion suffered in last Sunday's game. The Bills have a bye this week, so it really doesn't matter; just keep an eye on him next week.
The Chicago Bears
Brandon Lloyd - Brandon Lloyd is nursing a sprained knee that will keep him out of Sunday's game. It looks like one more week before Lloyd will get back to his role as the new stud in Kyle Orton's surprisingly decent passing attack.
The Cincinnati Bengals
Carson Palmer - Palmer practiced light all week, particularly in the throwing drills, but he is expected to play against the Jets.
The Cleveland Browns
Kellen Winslow - Kellen Winslow is currently hospitalized with an undisclosed illness. Let's hope he feels better by Sunday, but better have a plan B.
The Denver Broncos
Tony Scheffler- Scheffler will miss the week 6 game against the Jaguars and what was originally being called a groin injury is now being tested for a sports hernia. The dreaded sports hernia would mean he'll be out for a while, maybe even the season, so you might try to pawn him off while you still can.
Selvin Young - Selvin Young will miss Denver's week 6 game with a groin injury. This is not assumed to be serious, so expect him back next week.
The Detroit Lions
Jon Kitna - Kitna's 36 game starting streak looks like it may end this week as he sat out of practices with a sore back. In all seriousness, are you really thinking of starting a Lion at quarterback? Kitna's job is pretty much up for grabs at this point.
The Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers - Rodgers did not throw this week in practice with his shoulder injury, but he has no doubt that he will play this weekend.
The Houston Texans
Chris Taylor- Chris Taylor is listed as inactive this week. While not fantasy relevant, this just helps solidify Steve Slaton's ascent to pimp status.
The Indianapolis Colts
Anthony Gonzalez - Gonzalez was held out of practice Wednesday after suffering a concussion and Coach Dungy expressed uncertainty about his availability for Sunday. While we would assume he'd be ready, definitely have a backup ready to go.
The Minnesota Vikings
Bernard Berrian - While Berrian is listed as Questionable and missed practice Thursday, he does play the Lions, so it's worth keeping an eye on his progress. If he plays, he should be a very solid #2 receiver. Did I mention the Lions suck?
The New England Patriots
Laurence Maroney - Maroney looks ready to play, but until he proves he is getting any substantial number of carries, stay away from the Pats backfield.
The New Orleans Saints
Marques Colston - Sweet marmalade, Colston is almost ready to go and he participated in practice this week. He is questionable for this week, but I have a hunch he might see some action. It's probably better to wait one more week, but he'll be back sooner than later.
Jeremy Shockey - Shockey practiced and moved well just two weeks after undergoing hernia surgery. He is too risky to start this week, but he'll be back in a week or two. He's also a great trade candidate right now.
The New York Jets
Laveranues Coles - Coles remains on the injury report, but there is no reason to doubt his availability.
The Oakland Raiders
Darren McFadden - It's the same story for Darren McFadden. McFadden was limited in practice, but he played last week, so we see no reason to doubt his abilities this week. The real question is how will the carries between Fargas and Run DMC be divided under new coach, Tom Cable.
Justin Fargas - Fargas practiced full speed and will be ready to go. His value actually improves under new coach, Tom Cable, as Cable is yet to declare a starter and expects to use both Darren McFadden and Fargas extensively.
The Philadelphia Eagles
Kevin Curtis - Curtis practiced full speed, so he looks ready to go for the first time this season. Wait to see how he looks before starting him, but he might be a sleeping giant for the second half of the season.
Brian Westbrook - Westbrook is listed as questionable and not available for week 6. With the bye coming in week 7, coach Andy Reid is holding him out to heal the two broken ribs. Westbrook wants to play, but this is the smart decision.
The Pittsburgh Steelers
Willie Parker - Parker returned to practice this week and should be ready for week 7 after this week's bye.
The San Diego Chargers
Chris Chambers - Chambers is expected to miss Sunday night's game with a sprained ankle.
The Seattle Seahawks
Deion Branch - After one ineffective game, Deion Branch suffered a foot bruise and will be out indefinitely. Gimme a break.
Matt Hasselbeck - While Hasselbeck has not practiced this week, the coaches say, "He has to play" on Sunday. Thus, he will be in there. Keep an eye on that connection with Bobby Engram to see if there is any life in this passing game.
The Tampa Bay Bucs
Joey Galloway - Again, Galloway did not practice this week and looks like a long shot.
Brian Griese - Griese missed practiced this week and looks pretty doubtful to make an appearance on Sunday against the Panthers. Definitely come up with another option if for some reason Griese is your #1 fantasy QB.
The Tennessee Titans
Justin Gage - Gage is still nursing his knee injury, but after this week's bye, he should be back to form.
