Every week when the dinner bell rings on Friday evening, we'll be here to provide you a comprehensive injury report for the NFL weekend to follow. For those injuries that go right down to the wire, drop by our Fantasy Fanhouse expert live chat from 10am to 1pm EST every Sunday and we'll take care of you on those bloody game-time decisions. As always, please feel free to chime in with opinions, updates, and rumors in the comments. The Arizona Cardinals
Anquan Boldin - With a well-timed bye week affording Boldin an extra week to rest his dome, he looks to be on pace for a week 8 return.
The Buffalo Bills
Trent Edwards - Edwards is back at full speed and ready to go after suffering a frightening concussion in week 5. The Bills landed a bye in week 6, so he should be in good shape against the Chargers this week who have been disappointing against the pass.
The Chicago Bears
Brandon Lloyd - Brandon Lloyd continues to nurse a sprained knee that has kept him out of practice. It looks like yet another week of waiting for owners who hope that Brandon Lloyd will return for his ascent to Orton's #1 in Chicago.
The Cincinnati Bengals
Carson Palmer - Palmer is listed as out for Sunday's matchup against the Steelers.
T.J. Houshmandzadeh - Housh did not practice at all on Wednesday and did some stretching and rehab on Thursday, but nothing much else. He is listed as questionable for Sunday and given Palmer's status, you might be better off looking for another option this week.
The Cleveland Browns
Kellen Winslow - Kellen Winslow was cleared to rejoin the team, but he has not been cleared to practice. This mysterious illness is quite bizarre as very little information is out on what is wrong with Winslow. Secrecy in the NFL is almost always grounds for concern, so at this point plan on Winslow not being available for week 7.
The Dallas Cowboys
Tony Romo - Despite his broken right pinky, Tony Romo seems to be taking Brett Favre's inspirational "you should try to play" phone call to heart. He practiced on Thursday and apparently threw pretty well, so there's a good chance he will give it a go this week. Keep a close eye on the progress here, but I say start him if he decides to play.
Felix Jones - Jones is out this week and is expected to miss up to a month with a partially torn hammy.
The Denver Broncos
Tony Scheffler- Scheffler practiced in a limited capacity on Thursday, but his availability is still pretty uncertain for Sunday . This injury now appears a little less serious though as it went from "groin" to "sports hernia" and back to "groin." Keep an eye on it, because he has until Monday night, but the Broncos have a bye next week, so I'd guess they will hold him out for one more game.
Selvin Young - Selvin Young practiced in a limited capacity, but he is a bad start either way given Pittman's recent success. Plus, you're talking about Mike Shanahan, so it's too risky to deal with Selvin Young at this point.
The Detroit Lions
Jon Kitna - In case you missed it, Kitna is now on the IR and the Lions are officially in shambles.
Calvin Johnson - Johnson is clear to play and is full speed after his concussion. The real question is what happens to his value now that the quarterback situation is totally up for grabs and Roy Williams is gone? For some reason, I have a feeling Calvin Johnson is going to come out of this with a huge end to the season. Realistically, what other options do the Lions have than to target Johnson 15-20 times a game?
The Houston Texans
Chris Taylor- Chris Taylor is looking doubtful again this week. While not fantasy relevant, this just helps solidify Steve Slaton's ascent to pimp status.
The Indianapolis Colts
Joseph Addai - The word on the street for Addai is that he will miss 2-4 weeks with a partially torn hammy. This injury seems more serious than people are letting on, so start thinking of other plans for the longer term just in case.
The Minnesota Vikings
Bernard Berrian - While Berrian is listed as Questionable and practiced lightly on Thursday, he should be all set for Sunday against his former teammates. Who wouldn't want to silence the boos by catching crsipy passes from Gus Frerotte? Berrian has been a nice surprise for fantasy owners, so he looks like a decent start if you don't have studs.
The New England Patriots
Laurence Maroney - Maroney missed practice and looks like a waste of a roster spot at this point. Drop him if you haven't already.
The New Orleans Saints
Marques Colston - While the news on Colston is getting better, he presents a tough call this week. He practiced light this week, but he clearly wants to play, so I say green light him. The Saints have a big game against the Panthers, so I think he will make an impact.
Jeremy Shockey - Shockey is still questionable and has not practiced full speed yet, but he says he's "good to go." It's only a matter of time before Brees to Shockey becomes a dominant connection.
Reggie Bush - Adding to an already ridiculously high profile injury report, Reggie Bush joined the Saints' list as he experienced swelling in his knee and underwent a light workload this week. Regardless of a tough Carolina defense and a lot of predictions for a fantasy bust, Reggie Bush has given owners no reason to doubt his productivity this season. Don't over-think this one. Keep him in there this week.
The New York Jets
Laveranues Coles - Coles remains on the injury report, but there is no reason to doubt his availability.
The Philadelphia Eagles
Brian Westbrook - With the bye coming in week 7, Westbrook gets some valuable healing time for the two broken ribs.
The Pittsburgh Steelers
Willie Parker - Willie Parker re-injured his knee and is considered day-to-day. He missed practice on Thursday, so it's looking like Parker owners should hold off on starting Parker this week.
The San Diego Chargers
Chris Chambers - Chambers is looking pretty doubtful this week with a sprained ankle, but the Chargers are hopeful that he will play. Still, he is not nearly valuable enough to risk starting this week.
The Seattle Seahawks
Deion Branch - After one ineffective game, Deion Branch suffered a foot bruise and has not practiced since. Holmgren reiterates his expectation on Branch's availability this weekend, but the offense is shot and Branch is a liability. Let somebody else waste a spot on him.
Matt Hasselbeck - Hasselbeck will not play this week due to his inured back. This is just one more item on the long list of crises for Seattle. At this point it's safe to temper expectations for anyone on the entire offense this week, including you opportunistic Carlson owners.
The Tampa Bay Bucs
Joey Galloway - Galloway is a game-time decision this week, but returned to practice after an extended bout with a foot injury. He is not worth starting, but it's a good sign for owners hoping he will add some firepower to the corps down the stretch. He's actually available on a good deal of waiver wires, so he looks like a nice pickup at this point.
Brian Griese - Griese is still nursing the elbow injury and Gruden named Garcia the starter for week 7 against the Seahawks. Griese's value looks like it's about on parity with a nice fat portfolio of subprime mortgages.
The Tennessee Titans
Justin Gage - Gage is still nursing his knee injury and continued to miss practice. With the lowly chiefs up this week, the Titans might well decide it's best to rest him for one more week. I would hold off on the start despite any salivating that the Chiefs may induce.
The Washington Redskins
Clinton Portis - I should have known the minute we starting joking about the Shaun Alexander signing that Portis would miss back-to-back practices. Coach Zorn plans to rest him Friday as well, but downplayed that it was only a hip flexor and that he will play on Sunday. This is a bit disconcerting for owners, but he should be ready come gametime.
