Broncos' Matt Prater Leads Week 12 Fantasy Kicker Rankings

FanHouse fantasy positional rankings are compiled weekly by the staff in order to provide answers to possible lineup questions. These are assuming most leagues use Fleaflicker's standard scoring structure. The Broncos offense is really good. The Raiders defense is pretty bad, but they've been able to put the clamps on teams in the red zone and in the passing attack recently. The two teams are playing each other in the sea-level-challenged confines of Denver.

I'm smelling a good fantasy kicker! Loving some Matt Prater this week.

- The Niners have allowed more field goals than anyone in football. While I mostly expect the Cowboys to be scoring touchdowns, it's worth noting that Nick Folk is still a great play.

- Phil Dawson is coming off the best game of his career, considering number of points and his long game-winner. I do like him to get some chances at home this weekend, but the Texans don't allow many field goals -- usually just touchdowns. Slotting him 10 is perfect. Not elite, but solid.

- Mason Crosby is similar to Folk for me. I expect the Packers to get into the end zone more often than not in a shootout-type game, but the Saints are near the top in field goals allowed. He's a solid play.
